UGA’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences has a footprint across the state of over 800 buildings, over three million square feet, over 16,000 acres and over 700 vehicles.

Director

The Director of Facilities is responsible for the management and care of these resources for the college’s Research, Instruction, and Extension missions. This position acts as an advocate for the college and oversees new construction, renovations, maintenance and repairs. This position develops plans for preventative maintenance for facilities, equipment, and infrastructure; reviews construction documents and provides feedback to our partners in OUA, FMD, and ESD; works with CAES faculty to address emerging issues and ensure that facilities meet programmatic needs; creates long term planning and visioning for the growth of the college; manages the annual MRR funding process; manages space allocation requests within the college; is the primary contact within the college for real estate issues; and manages the state and federal fleet.
