Who reports to NIFA?
All state faculty who receive the following funding must have or be a collaborator on a state issue (also referred to as a project or Plan of Work) in GaCounts:
- Smith-Lever (UGA Extension)
- All non-district faculty with over 25% Extension appointment
- Hatch (UGA Research)
- All faculty with over 25% AES appointment
- 1890 Extension (FVSU Extension)
- Evans-Allen (FVSU Research)
Note: This is a separate process from the entering and progress reporting of a federal project (eg – Hatch) in the NIFA system.
